All modern cars should (by law/homologation) be OBDII compliant. (have just seen you have put 2017 Panda City Cross in your user info - don't normally look there) Any help would be great.įirst of all what is the actual vehicle you are trying to use MES on. In fact Multiecuscan is asking me to go to the paid version, I don't want to pay for it unless it works or is this a spam site and not the proper version, I'm confused.

Unfortunately it doesn't recognise the Engine ECU, is this because the car is a late 2017 model and the 2018 spec? Why does torq see the engine ECU though. Another download was available from which I downloaded and after configuring the COM port etc it began to read the different ECU's. Looking at Gendan there is no option of a free version to test the PC and dongle to see if it would work. I have a very good ELM827 bluetooth dongle. So I decided to dual boot my Linux Mint laptop with Windows 10 (Latest version) and install Multiecuscan. All voltages perfect, charging rate spot on and resting volts after 6 hours 12.7v, reset the codes via Torq (Powertrain Unknown P500) I've had the battery life tested at 86% which is good.

I'm getting the warning triangle up along with the EML indication with start stop not available.
